Lead welding

Lead welding is an alternative practice to bossing. Sometimes welding can be beneficial as not to thin the lead down too much.

There are different types of welding:

a) Flat buttoned seam
b) Flat lapped seam
c) Upright seam
d) Horizontal lapped seam

All is standard practice and used throughout most lead works.
